Bleach Episodes 65 – 70

After the Save Rukia arc, Bleach has just been random fillers, thought these random fillers seem to be leading up to something.

The past few episodes felt like fillers, but it seems to be setting up a new arc. They’ve introduced 3 new characters (good guys): Rinrin, Clyde, and Nova. They’re all Kaizou Konpaku just like Kon (the lion stuff animal). They were first testing Ichigo and friends and played little games according to the instructions Uruhara gave them. But the real goal was to show that Ichigo no longer can release his Bankai as easily as he thought.

The other objective was to get them prepared to battle the Bount (a vampire like species) that drink the soul out of humans to give them immortality.

The battles with the Bount has started and these 3 Kaizou Konpakus are able to detect them when they’re out and about and sucking the souls out of humans. They got transferred from the gigais (fake human bodies) into stuff animals so they can travel about easier (I’m guessing). We meet a lady Bount and she seems to be trying to escape from the main group. Her power involves this fire dude. Then there’s the guy with the snake which can easily over power the woman and captures her back. Apparently this guy’s watch named Freed can turn into a snake and whatever the guy imagines can turn into a snake and attack anyone. Then there’s the boss character which I’m not too sure what his powers are yet.
