Fate/stay night Episode 9 – Elegance Under the Moon

So last episode left us off with Saber going to fight the servant hiding in the temple. The servant there is of class Assassin. Interesting guy indeed.
Rider shows up later and attacks the master while the servant is off fighting Saber. The master is some lady hidden behind a hooded cloak, but even Rider wasn’t a match for her it seems.
The fight between Saber and Assassin was pretty cool. Saber unsheathes her sword for the first time, and you can see her releasing huge amounts of mana, creating something like a tyhpoon.
However, the fight is stopped when they noticed a new servant has appeared. From the shadows, it looks like Lancer. But it was a good thing, because Saber already overexerted herself and fell unconcious. Shirou apparently has some sort of link with Saber and fight when she was in danger and followed her. He carried her all the way home and Rin apparently woke up and caught him in a weird position with Saber.
But Rin knew what was up and Shirou and Saber started talking about what they saw that night. The truth is out that Shirou doesn’t want Saber to get hurt and would rather he fight than her. Saber asks why is he being so reckless and Rin explains that Shirou knows that he can’t win against a servant, but he would rather try fighting than put Saber in danger. The argument goes back and forth for a bit, and finally Saber says she’ll agree to Shirou’s actions as long as he trains with her starting tomorrow in swordsmanship.
It’s going to be interesting what’s going to happen next. The preview showed that the little girl (in charge of Berserk – Heracles), really likes Shirou, but the preview didn’t reveal too much.
