Just watched this movie today. Worthy to be called the sequel, but not as great as the first one. Then again, I guess my expectation of Kevin Smith has always been somewhat high after watching his first few movies.

The movie starts off with Randal forgetting to turn off the coffee pot and the whole Quick Mart goes up in flames. They end up flipping burgers at some fast food restaurant obsessed with cows.
The year zooms by really fast and now Dante is leaving to Florida to start a new life with a beautiful wife, whose father will be providing Dante a job at his car wash chain and a house.
The whole movie sort of revolves around that point. Randall goes and gets him a leaving present, a inter-species (bestiality) show with a donkey.
There’s also a whole side story with Star Wars vs Lord of the Rings/Transformers. Randall really likes picking on Elias.
Dante’s boss comes out and tells him she’s pregnant with his child, but he doesn’t want this to stop him from leaving. She however insists she wants to have the child.
Then there was this whole section regarding racial slurs. I’ve never heard of porch monkey till today, but apparently it’s a derogatory term referring to lazy African Americans who sit around the porch and do nothing.
Finally, Randall lets down his guard and admits that he’s afraid of what’ll happen when Dante leaves. They’ve been best buds since high school. Now Dante’s just going to leave him here. More sappy stuff happen and they talk about futures, how one is ruining the other’s, and then it jumps to what they can do. Randall brings up his dream of buying the Quick Mart, rebuild it, and etc. However they didn’t have the cash, but this is when Jay and Silent Bob comes in, and offers them the money on 1 condition: Allowing them to sell pot in front of their store.
Definitely worth the watch.
