I don’t believe I’ve ever seen the original Miami Vice. My only memory about is probably at Universal Studios when they had that stunt show. Given that, I was just expecting a bunch of explosions in this movie. Didn’t turn out that bad.

So I have no idea how it compares to the original or if it’s even the same story. This Miami vice was about a covert group of FBI agents in Miami that only a few know exist. After a deal has gone bad with a previous informer, they decide to take the case on and infiltrate the drug cartel at its root. They act as deliver guys transporting the goods between Columbia and Florida.
One of the bankers falls for the banker and a weird relationship starts. In the end, every bad guy is killed and he lets her escape. There was one scene that wasn’t clear. A troop of soldiers in weird uniform rushes into the house. I could only assume this is the Columbian government trying to take over the boss, but you’d think that the boss would have the government under his control with all his wealth.
One thing I didn’t get was when Yero was trying to convince the big boss that the 2 guys weren’t to be trusted, he showed a video of one of the dancing intimately with Isabella. However, he should’ve had video tape of them dressed up as a special unit charging in to rescue the wife + the fact that the police were pretty soon in the area, so there must’ve been some connection that he could’ve easily made.
The only thing I disliked about this movie is that none of the good guys (that mean anything) died. I mean not even the wife that was suppose to be blown to bits and pieces.
I’m looking for Miami Vice Stunt Show pictures from USH. Could you post some up if you have em?
Let me know about other vice sites.
