Does anyone know why the US$1 bill has 72.3% cotton/28.7% linen while all the other bills have 75%/25%? My googlefu is failing me. #
@krunk4ever My only guess is cotton is more expensive than linen and this helped cut costs on the most produced bill (42% in 2009). in reply to krunk4ever #
