Black Cat Episodes 9 – 17

Anime’s moving along. Nothing big is really happening. Rumor is Saya won’t be coming back for awhile (though you do get to see her in Train’s dreams sometimes). That’s been confirmed by manga readers, who even claim things worse than not coming back. I’m really starting to lose interest, but we’ll see.

So more is know about the Taoists. Apparently Creed has created a new group called Apostles of the Stars to destroy Chronos and release their hold on the world. Some of them want to take over that control themselves. Creed really wants Train to join their group, but fails multiple times. Train also wants to kill Creed to avenge Saya’s death. So this goes back on forth a bit where Train leaves the groups and tries to fight Creed himselve. Sven and Hime-chan always finds him though and Sven gives him a beating every time.

Then you meet Kyoko who’s had a major crush on Train the moment they meet. She calls him Kuro-Sama (Black-Sama) because Train tells her his name is Black Cat. Every time she tries to kiss him, Train sticks a cat to her face and she ends up kissing the cat instead. Later on Kyoko and Charden leave the Apostles of the Stars because Charden believes they’re no longer serving the original goal and Kyoko doesn’t want to be an enemy of Kuro-Sama.

So the story moves on, when Train takes a bullet for Kyoko. But this was a special bullet that contained nano-machines and Taoist potion. Apparently it shrinks him and he becomes a 10 year old kid. There he neats a bunch of kids. Apparently Leo used to be their head. Leo is the kid in Apostles of the Stars. However, the cure to Train’s shrink was fried omelette which Hime-chan made and now he’s all grown back. Not sure if he’s going to shrink again.

So the story continues where they have to cross a mountain. Train once again runs away and ends up in a hidden mountain village. There’s a girl that resembles Saya in almost everyway. However, they’ve introduced a new storyline about how she’s protecting a prince that’s been given a bad omen on how he’s going to destroy the world, and she and several others took the prince away to protect him in this mountain. Thinking back on this, I have a completely new theory on Saya. This is just sort of way out there, but maybe, just maybe Train is that prince. The incident in the mountains was all a dream. The reason why Saya and that girl resembled so much is because Saya is that girl, but a ghost, or maybe in another form (maybe a cat). Saya’s goal was to protect Train (the prince) and lead him onto the correct path.

In the last episode that I saw, nothing much really happened. You find out the team of sweepers that was set to capture Creed and the Apostles of the Stars was actually led by a Chronos Number. Things happened and some good feelings scenes apart, there’s this cute little girl that appears. There’s this cursed island filled with monsters (taoist transformations apparently) and her parents had sent her away on a boat so she could survive. She goes around the harbor begging people to take her to the island and in trade, she’ll give them all her treasure which consisted of a big jar of pretty seashells. It was so cute and adorable. No one of course would accept the offer. She then meets Train’s group and there’s this new member, I forget his name, and he takes 1 seashell from the little girl and promises to bring her parents back. Not too sure if he should’ve made the promise. Now that he’s given her hope, only thing left is despair if he fails.
